Hall of Fame, Ladhak
Let’s travel today to Hall of Fame Ladhak. I heard about this place time to time when I was in Pune. These places have emotional bonding for an Army brat like me. Hall of Fame is a little yet sublime historical centre built and kept up by Indian Army in Ladakh. It is situated on the Spituk-Kargil street.
It displays things identified with Ladakhi social legacy. The key fascination of the historical centre is that it has shown on memorabilia, seized arms and courtesies of Pakistani Army, life stories and photos of the overcome fighters, and so on. This gallery was worked to recognize the souls of every single incredible trooper who lost their lives in noteworthy Siachin front lines amid Indo-Pak war.
I got little emotional after visiting the memorial and the name of the Army Personals lots their life in Kargil War on the stone carved. Leh and further high altitude areas are very difficult to live with oxygen supply at its lowest level. This place displays how our military personnel have done their best to protect our high altitude frontiers.
it’s the place where our heroes rest. It’s the great place to pay our tribute to all our heroes and pray for their soul to rest in peace forever. I like to request you guys when you visit to remove a good amount of time like 3 to 4 Hours for this place as you get to see a lot of arms and history. I cant describe the army’s glory but this place definitely does. Not only you find a sneak peak of Kargil war, 1971 you also find the wars and battles Ladhakhi people fought for this reason. It gives us a sense of what our soldiers do for our country. Also, its a memorial has been built for our martyrs. This place showcase Ladhaki culture, there struggle, Army achievements and so on.
There is a good stock of Kashmiri art and woollen cloths/shall/sweaters etc at a reasonable price. You can get Comics related to our Heroes who achieved India most respected Pram Veer Chakra and Ashok Chakra etc. do collect and share these stories with the coming generations. Do visit this place once you in Leh City. Cheers!!!
