Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya
As a history freak, my destiny brings me to this beautiful city in Thailand known as Ayutthaya also known as Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya or locally and simply Ayutthaya.
Let’s travel to the past for the history of Ayutthaya. So Ayutthaya once it was know as the trading capital of Asia and even the world because of its ideal location between China, India, It is an ancient capital and modern city in the Central Plains of Thailand, 85 km north of Bangkok. One of the very interesting fact about this city was that it was the largest city in the world just 300 years ago.

Sadly once the largest city in the world is now all it’s left with ruined temples and some stone building in very bad shape. Still, the history associated with the city stands still in the books and around the world in people’s hearts as fresh as it was once 300 years ago.
